About Me
Creative Counselling with care in Harley Street, Islington and the City

When I left school, I also left home and joined the army. For 5 years I lived abroad before leaving the forces to live and work in Australia. Since then I have travelled abroad extensively, spending a long period exploring Asia, living with Hill Tribes and exploring remote islands. During this time I became interested in the people I met, their culture and traditions. It was this interest that led me to explore my own therapeutic process and how I relate to others and to myself. That journey began 16 years ago.

I now have a Diploma in Gestalt Counselling and an MA in Drama and Movement Therapy. I am a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy(BACP) and The Health Professions Council(HPC). As all registered counsellors and dramatherapists I adhere to the BACP and HPC Code of Ethics and Practice. I have regular supervision to ensure that the quality and effectiveness of my work is maintained to the highest standard. To ensure that quality, I am committed to ongoing professional development (CPD) and because I work with children I also have an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) clearance.

I have worked extensively with a wide range of clients including students, children, self harmers and the eating disordered, drug and alcohol addicts, forensic patients, those with depression and bi-polar disorder, schizophrenics and borderline personality disordered.
